Assist Personal Activities
One Call Support holds an occupational therapy degree and is licensed by the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHRPA).
In order to determine what one or more goals, health needs, and preferences are, an occupational therapist will ask the patient questions. An occupational therapist will then use those answers to help create a care plan and talk about that with other health professionals who might be involved in my care team. Occupational therapists will also ask family members and friends to complete questionnaires.
We can provide you with personal care help if you are a participant whose application for the NDIS core supports category has been granted. This personal care includes:
- Mobility and hoist transfers
- Showering or bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Attending events or planning your day
- Going to the toilet
- Personal hygiene
- Getting in and out of bed
- Help with the preparation of meals
- Feeding in conjunction with your support plan
- Moving around the house
- Household tasks
